La Portella Private Primary Art School accepts children for preparatory studies ( from the 6th year) or immediately for the 1st year of studies, depending on the age and abilities of the pupil. The studies are divided into 2 parts with a total duration of 8 years.
Level 1:
Part 1 : a four-year course of study, culminating in a diploma,
Part 2: a four-year course of study, culminating in graduation examinations with a final certificate of education.
Level 2 education with a total duration of 4 years.
The number of lessons increases in each grade, in accordance with the development and artistic growth of your children.
In addition to classical music, this major offers a wide range of other musical genres (jazz, musical, other popular genres as well as the study of music production for older students).
We offer a wide range of study on various musical instruments, singing and composition.
For the first two years, the children are primarily engaged in individual instrumental playing, focused on the development of specific instrumental or vocal abilities and skills, artistic talent. In this way they develop their emotionality, aesthetic sensitivity and personality.
The study in the first two years is 70 minutes per week. Group music tuition of 1x 45 minutes per week is included.
From the third year onwards, chamber or ensemble/orchestra playing and other ensembles are added, as well as choral singing for 3.5 hours per week.
